"Having eyes does not mean one sees."

Since my youth, I havebeen interested in art and photography – but for reasons of common sense, Iinitially chose to become a lawyer. Over the past five years, however, I haveincreasingly returned to photography, which has since become a real passion.

I work exclusively with my smartphone camera, as it’s always with me and allowsme to capture fleeting, unplanned moments just as they appear in real life.

My photographic focus lies in discovering the quiet beauty of everyday life –in forms, colors, and compositions that often go unnoticed. The greatest lessonI’ve learned through photography is that there is far more visual poetry in ourdaily surroundings than we tend to realize. When you walk through the worldwith open eyes, your view of it begins to shift. The seemingly mundane orordinary can suddenly reveal a quiet, often unconsciously composed elegance.

The images shown in this exhibition were all taken in Italy. They offer adifferent view of this remarkable country – beyond the typical highlights andtourist hotspots – and seek to capture the subtle aesthetic of overlookedplaces and moments.
